Ceilings and Roofs

On flat or low pitched roofs maintain a minimum of 2" airspace between top of insulation and roof sheathing. (Check local building codes).

1. Install ComfortBatt™ from below until flush with joist surface.

  • Ensure ventilation spacing is maintained.
  • Cut pieces of insulation to fit inside truss.
  • Apply an approved vapor barrier/retarder.
  • Vapor barrier should overlap wall barrier and intersecting interior partitions.
