FABROCK™ DD

FABROCK™ DD is a dual density board insulation that is designed to be fabricated while maintaining its integrity. A high density layer and a lower density layer work together to give the product compressive resistance and excellent sound absorbency. Ideal for use in acoustic panels but not limited to this application, dual density insulation has many uses in different OEM applications. As with all ROXUL products, it has excellent fire and thermal properties, is dimensionally stable, vapor permeable and will not encourage the growth of mold.

Properties:

  • Non-combustible stone wool insulation with melting point of approx. 1177°C (2150°F)
  • Does not promote smoke or flame spread when exposed to flame
  • Denser composition provides excellent sound control
  • Outstanding thermal resistance
  • Dimensionally stable Water and moisture resistant
  • Does not promote growth of fungi or mildew
