ROXUL INSULATION EXPANDS IN THE U.S. OFFERING HOMEOWNERS OPTIONS IN ENERGY SAVINGS AND COMFORT
June 30, 2011 – Roxul Inc., the producers of Roxul insulation are drastically expanding their product availability in the U.S. this Independence Day weekend. Roxul has partnered with Lowe’s to bring Roxul products into 227 Lowe’s stores in 13 states, covering much of the east coast, starting July 1st.
Roxul insulation has been available through Lowe’s by special order only, but will now be readily available in store. “American homeowners are looking for high quality, energy efficient insulation that delivers comfort beyond what traditional residential insulations can offer,” said Rory Moss, Vice President, Residential & Interior Solutions, Roxul. “The demand for Roxul products has steadily increased over the years, so partnering with one of the largest home improvement retailers will meet this growing demand. Availability at Lowe’s means homeowners can purchase the product when they need it.”
The high quality of Roxul products are sought after by homeowners and contractors because of the fire resistant, water repellent and sound absorption properties. Home renovation television shows such as Income Property and Holmes on Homes, have increased the awareness of Stone Wool insulation such as Roxul.
Starting on July 1st, Lowes will offer Roxul’s Safe ‘n’ Sound fire and soundproofing insulation, that significantly reduces noise transfer between rooms. With electronics such as televisions, cell phones and stereos in many household rooms, Roxul’s Safe ‘n’ Sound products offer the peace and quiet homeowners want. Roxul’s thermal insulation ComfortBatt R15 will also be readily available, which offers a maximum R-value performance in 2x4 wood studs – an ideal choice for home renovation projects. Additional Roxul products will be available by special order at Lowes.
