FabRock™ LT & HT
The Roxul FabRock™ is a premium stone wool insulation board with low thermal conductivity.
Applications
This product is a multi-purpose board designed to be fabricated to different dimensions and still retain fire, water and thermal properties.
FabRock™ comes in two different densities for different applications:
FabRock LT – a light weight semi –rigid board insulation
FabRock HT – a rigid board insulation used in high temperature pipe applications
Properties
- Fire resistant, non-combustible product with a melting point of approximately 2150°F (1177°C)
- Water and moisture resistant, repels water
- Does not rot, promote mildew, fungi, or bacteria, or sustain vermin
- Unique directional fiber structure provides excellent sound control
- Provides superior compressive strength for job site durability
- Easy to install, cut, shape, and fabricate
- Fabrication at different densities maintains fire, water, and thermal properties
